I moved from Ireland to the UK 1995. After achieving a BA in Drama and Dance I moved to Edinburgh.Having worked full time in administration for a few years, I decided that it was time to do something more creative again.
A growing interest in complementary therapy led me to take my Reiki 1 & 2 and this in turn led to evening classes in Shiatsu, which appealed to me immediately.
In September 2005 I became, along with seven other young hopefuls, a member of the first wave of students to complete The Shiatsu School Edinburgh’s three year course in Zen Shiatsu.
I then did a Post Graduate Year to became an MRSS* practitioner in February 2007.
I have also worked as the administrator for The Shiatsu School Edinburgh and am an Associate of The Shiatsu Place which I have been involved with since its inception.
